The CCAAIBWS International Math Olympiad invites primary students from around the world to experience mathematics beyond the classroom — through challenge, collaboration, and discovery.

Hosted in the vibrant city of Baku, this Olympiad is designed to inspire future problem-solvers, thinkers, and innovators within an international IB environment.

Exam Duration:

  • Grades 1–2: 80 minutes
  • Grades 3–5: 90 minutes

Participation Fee:

  • National Students: 80 AZN
  • International Students: 150 USD

CCAAIBWS International Math Subject Olympiad 2026

Where mathematical thinking meets global collaboration and real-world exploration.

Hosted by Caucasus & Central Asia Association of IB World Schools, the International Math Subject Olympiad brings together students from across the region to engage in a dynamic, multi-day academic experience in Baku.

This Olympiad goes beyond traditional competition. It combines rigorous mathematical assessment with workshops, collaborative activities, cultural experiences, and project-based exploration aligned with IB philosophy.

Participants will not only challenge their problem-solving abilities but also develop critical thinking, teamwork, and global perspectives through a carefully designed programme—from Olympiad examinations to city tours and cultural engagement.

STEAM Algorithm Session Held During the CCAAIBWS International Math Olympiad

The STEAM Algorithm Session, organized as part of the , brought together students from various international schools for an engaging and interactive learning experience.

Throughout the session, participants explored innovative problem-solving strategies, strengthened their algorithmic thinking skills, and collaborated with peers in a dynamic educational environment. The training provided students with valuable insights into STEAM-based learning approaches while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and analytical thinking.
